According to a 2013 study conducted by the Dutch consulting firm Shaerpa, the Teatro del Lago Foundation’s programmes and courses have made it possible to reduce the gap between the wealthiest and most under-resourced segments of the community by bringing together people from different social and cultural backgrounds around music, the arts, and education.

The Teatro del Lago Foundation’s contribution to regional activity is stated in a February 2018 report prepared by Credit Corp Capital that states that for every US dollar invested in activities directly associated with Teatro del Lago, as much as USD 5.6 are destined to other beneficial activities for the region.

This percentage is higher than that presented by other theatres and festivals around the world, such as PKA in Finland (USD 2.6) or Salzburg in Austria (USD 1.3). Additionally, the average expenditure for products and services outside Teatro del Lago is USD 370 per visit, on par with well-established European destinations.
