With a tribute to its history and those who have been part of it, Teatro del Lago celebrated its 10th anniversary
During the online gala the history of the theatre was reliving through the testimonies of national and international artists. Its main stage, the Espacio Tronador, witnessed a meeting from The DiMenna Center for Classical Music, the American string trio Time for Three performed for the fourth time at Teatro del Lago. These “rock stars” of classical music shared the stage with students and teachers of the music and dance departments of the School of the Arts and the Ensemble Teatro del Lago.
Festival de Primavera, The Theatre shines again!
The 2021 Spring Festival brought wonderful moments, with three solo concertos, including Mozart’s Double Piano Concerto, in which students, alumni, teachers and guest artists worked together. The star of the evening was the great Chilean pianist Edith Fischer, a student of Claudio Arrau, who at the age of 86 is still a source of inspiration, thanks to the clarity of her interpretation. The performance of Teatro del Lago Youth Chorus and Orchestra with the well-known Chilean folk music group Congreso was also very moving.
