Teatro del Lago and FOJI Sign Collaboration Agreement

The institutions have joined forces in a partnership aimed at promoting the musical development of young people from both organizations, impacting the region.

On 9th March, at Teatro del Lago Frutillar, FOJI (Foundation of Youth and Children’s Orchestras of Chile) and the Teatro del Lago Foundation signed a collaboration agreement. This partnership aims to promote an artistic and pedagogical exchange that enhances the instrumental development in Los Lagos Region, through various instruments and tools.

Both FOJI and Teatro del Lago will act in collaborative synergy in which musicians from both institutions can participate in various activities that will allow them to develop and share collaborative spaces for mutual musical growth and for the region.

«For us, signing this agreement with Teatro del Lago not only brings benefits to both institutions but is also a great privilege. The Teatro del Lago Foundation has dedicated itself to promoting artistic education at a level of excellence, which is also an important goal for us. I am sure that beautiful things will come out of this not only in the region but also nationally», Miguel Farías, Executive Director of FOJI.

«It is important to collaborate with impactful education initiatives, such as FOJI, in the country and be a meeting point for different musical realities. We are very pleased as a foundation to have the Regional Youth Symphony Orchestra of Los Lagos (OSJR), for example, in our productions. We believe that steps like this are necessary to grow together with excellence», says João Aboim, Director of Art & Education at Teatro del Lago.

The partnership between both organizations will also bring an artistic impact to the region, enhancing concerts of excellence and perpetuating and promoting the artistic and educational development of children and young people in the territory. An action that in the long term will benefit both institutions that can be extended nationwide.
