Outstanding European maestros gave a Master Course in Chamber Music at the Teatro del Lago

The teachers were in charge of the ninth version of this training course, which brings together young musicians from Chile and Latin America each year.

Four distinguished European maestros gave a Chamber Music Masterclass at Teatro del Lago

A team of talented educators led the ninth edition of this prestigious training event, which brings together young musicians from Chile and Latin America annually.

From the 26th of February to the 4th of March, Teatro del Lago played host to the Master Course in Chamber Music, a programme designed to refine the skills of these talented young performers, under the tutelage of some of the world’s most acclaimed chamber musicians.

This year, four internationally recognized chamber musicians, Barbara Doll (violin), Hartmut Rohde (viola), Silke Avenhaus (piano) and Xenia Jankovic (cello), were in charge of the course. They opened the course with a concert at the amphitheatre of Teatro del Lago, titled “International Soloists”, showcasing a repertoire that included works by Schubert, Enescu, Martinu, Schumann, and Brahms. The course culminated in a concert performed by the students on the 4th of March.
