Hugo von Liechtenstein was born in Vienna in 1964. He studied business administration at the Vienna University of Economics and completed an MBA degree after a joint programme at Kellogg University in Chicago and the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in Koblenz, Germany. Since 2004 he has been managing partner of Liechtenstein & Cie. in Frankfurt, a business consulting firm specialized in M&A and corporate finance. He holds various positions as a board member and consultant and is a member of the investment committee of a mezzanine fund oriented towards mid-sized businesses.
